It is time for a new direction for Cook County so that we can regain competitiveness in the global econamy and bring back to par the living standard of Cook County residents:
- Transparent budget- created with constituent input in accordance with Government Finance Officers Association criteria.
- Ethical delivery of services to constituents- create an independent Constituent Committee to oversee transparent and ethical operation.
- Taxing structure reform- to ensure real estate and sales tax burdens on residents are reduced, without compromising high quality service delivery by restructuring the operations on all levels
- Business friendly and inviting atmosphere that will attract high tech and other businesses with high paying jobs for the residents and thus allow for taxing structure reform.
- Health care delivery reform to ensure high quality of health care delivery to all that need it.
- Energy sources reform- in collaboration with institutions of higher learning to create new viable and affordable energy sources and delivery systems that will attract new high tech business and jobs.
- Correction system reform to truly provide access to justice for every citizen reduce crime rate, and turn offenders into productive citizens, thus reducing the extraordinary tax burden on the County and increase revenue streams.
